SIBBM Lectures
Travel grants for Senior Investigators
In support of Ph.D. Schools, the SIBBM provides a limited number of grants to cover travel costs of Senior Investigators (national or international) delivering lectures or research seminars for Ph.D. students in the context of an Italian Ph.D. School Programme.
Each Ph.D. School Coordinator, Tutor or Supervisor can make a single application per year, for a maximum of 300 euro.
The application for a travel grant should be submitted to the SIBBM office prior to the journey and must contain the following information:
- Name, work address and details of the Ph.D. School in which the applicant is enrolled as a Teacher or Supervisor, including host labs, number of students and external grants, if present.
- Details of the invited seminar: name of speaker and affiliation; place, date and type of activity (e.g. local seminar series, conference, course).
The SIBBM strongly encourages the seminar to be recorded and can make it publicly available through the SIBBM website.
Applicants, as representatives of Ph.D. Schools, should be SIBBM members.
Applications should be sent to: LecturesSIBBM@sibbm.org
